   American Cancer Society
ACS supports education and research in cancer prevention, diagnosis, detection, and treatment. Find news, information on types of cancer, patient services, treatment options, living with cancer, and cancer statistics. Information is also available in Spanish.

 Cancer Online Resources
The Association of Cancer Online Resources  provides information to cancer patients and those who care for them.  ACOR offers access to approximately 100 public email cancer support groups as well as ACOR-supported websites.

 Cancer Care
Cancer Care provides free professional help to people with cancer through counseling, education, information and referral, and direct financial assistance. Includes links to support, educational, treatment, and information services. Information is also available in Spanish.

 CancerNet
The National Cancer Institute of the National Institutes of Health provides information on types of cancer, treatment options, clinical trials. genetics, causes, risk factors and prevention, testing, coping, and support resources. Also provides free access to the PDQ@ and Cancerlit databases. Information is also available in Spanish.

  Treatment Guidelines
The National Comprehensive Cancer Network  offers treatment guidelines to help people with cancer make informed decisions. In partnership with the American Cancer Society, the NCCN translates Clinical Practice Guidelines in Oncology™ for all of the major cancers and supportive care issues into patient-friendly versions in English and Spanish. On the web or by calling 888.909.NCCN.

 Chronic Disease Prevention
The National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion is part of the Centers for Disease Control. Find information about dealing with cancer.

 Intercultural Cancer Council
The Texas Medical Center in Houston seeks to eliminate the unequal burden of cancer among racial and ethnic minorities and medically underserved populations in the United States.  Find news, press releases, links to cancer information sites, and a calendar of upcoming events.

 Oncolink
 Provides information on types of cancer  and issues of interest to cancer patients and their families from the University of Pennsylvania Cancer Center. Includes news, book reviews, disease, and patient support links.

 Women's Cancer Network
 The Gynecologic Cancer Foundation is dedicated to preventing, detecting and conquering cancer in women.  Find information on  types of cancer that affect women, cancer risks for women, and a search engine to locate gynecologic oncologists. Also includes links to related sites, publications, and support groups.
